The restaurant area exudes a sense of openness and serenity, drawing inspiration from the the sunrise, known as “alba” in Italian. The light tones and the mellow glow of washi paper lamps create an inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of the first sunbeams.
The recycled plastic breathes new life into the pizza counter, while natural beech is used for the table feet and chairs.

These matching chairs pay homage to the traditional pizzeria aesthetic. With an added personal touch, certain chairs bear the name tags of crowdfunding clients who backed the project.The table tops, also crafted from recycled plastic, stand out with their original patterns that evoke the artistry of baking pizza dough and the sea sand. For those seeking a more intimate atmosphere, HOXAR STUDIO designed a bar area where groups can gather on a massive sofa to share convivial moments. The unique low tables design skilfully balances thin recycled tops with oversized feet, ensuring that patrons can tailor their experience to suit their needs. Recalling the ambiance of atemporal dining destinations, the rich and warm ambiance of this space is achieved through dark oak wall paneling and a bar counter, creating an inviting cocktail area. Matt brown leather sofas against deep red walls and ceilings perfectly complement the burgundy and cream mottled table tops, further enriching the intimate vibe.
Out on the terrace, each piece of furniture has been thoughtfully handcrafted. The distribution allows to accommodate both large groups around spacious tables and more intimate gatherings in dedicated galvanized steel lounge seating.
This thoughtfully planned layout extends the dining options, allowing patrons to enjoy Zurich’s streets. The urban furniture of the terrace, made from galvanized steel gabions, ensures durability and strong aesthetic. These pieces are a nod to timeless lounge chairs. Providing a unique identity to the space, the tables are creative take on traditional wooden lattice designs — as an arched screen extending from one of its lateral supports offers privacy to seated patrons.
