The materials chosen for this project showcase the studio’s particular approach to craftsmanship. Warm grey-brown stone, composed by small shell fossils, takes center stage.
HOXAR STUDIO leveraged this stone for furniture, counter elements, shelves, and tabletops, masterfully turning a humble material into an aesthetic wonder.
Raw metallic bars, usually associated with construction sites, are another key feature in the restaurant design. They form the foundation of all the structures, from shelves to the counter and a striking central long table. HOXAR STUDIO effectively embraced the industrial aspect of these bars, using them creatively throughout the space. The restaurant’s inox metallic elements bring an industrial aesthetic, primarily visible in the kitchen and certain details in the restaurant, such as electrical tubes. These elements skillfully merge industrial vibes with the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the eatery.
Natural plywood, carefully selected by HOXAR STUDIO, adds a natural touch to the design. It is used in punctual areas of the main room, particularly for the upper shelve of the counter. The walls are uniformly painted in warm yellow, a strategic choice to mask the space’s unattractive past and to provide unity to the restaurant. To introduce a human scale and a dash of greenery, HOXAR STUDIO design philosophy brought in the space various fern plants, thus breaking the industrial elements and offering a refreshing touch of nature.
In creating an atmosphere that defies convention to meet the low-budget restaurant, the color palette plays an instrumental role. The walls and ceilings are bathed in a monochromatic warm yellow, providing unity and harmony. This acts as a backdrop to the grey-brown tones of the stone and the reflective silver finish of the metal elements, creating a warm, inviting ambiance.
The delicate interplay of warm and cool tones strikes a perfect balance between industrial silver and the subtle, earthy green tones introduced by the lush hanging ferns. It’s a striking manifestation of the vision of HOXAR STUDIO.
A Culinary Journey thoughtfully took the best out the two distinct spaces, united by a narrow corridor. The south-facing area boasts an open kitchen, complete with inox elements that offer transparency and functionality.
Stone tables, meticulously designed by HOXAR STUDIO, accommodate patrons, their stone slabs serving as comfortable seats backed by Italian bouclé fabric, promising a unique blend of comfort and industrial aesthetics. The counter, adorned with a vibrant collection of homemade pickles and premium liquor, adds a distinctive charm. On the north-facing side, a long high table beckons diners and offers a different dining experience within the same space.
The corridor, a functional bridge between the two areas, has been crafted for the utmost convenience of both diners and staff, ensuring a smooth flow and a sense of cosiness, a hallmark of HOXAR STUDIO’s design philosophy.

The low-budget restaurant doesn’t stop at redefining the dining experience with its restaurant area. HOXAR STUDIO delivers an unforgettable “wow” impression with the restroom design.
The journey begins with a first room featuring monochromatic metallic silver mirror walls, ceilings, and floors. These surfaces perfectly reflect the smooth silver finish of the inks fixtures and metallic bars, immersing the visitor in a world of reflections.
As you transition into the restroom itself, the atmosphere shifts to monochromatic purple, creating a dramatic contrast. Here, two construction lamps cast a dazzling glow, further enhancing the visitor’s unique experience and astonishment. Adorning the wall above the toilets is a tiny green dinosaur, a subtle touch that HOXAR STUDIO brilliantly utilizes as the restaurant’s mascot, even incorporating it into the restaurant’s logo.
The restrooms are a clear testament to HOXAR STUDIO’s commitment to have fun while delivering an unforgettable, eye-catching experience for every visitor.
